About the Artist

The Pursuit of Timeless Beauty As an artist dedicated to the "visionary syntax" of the soul, I constantly seek to capture and express the enduring essence of beauty. Throughout history, art has served as a bridge between the seen and the unseen, and I strive to continue this dialogue through my own work.

The Renaissance & Literary Influence The Great Masters of the European Renaissance are my constant companions and inspirations. Their mastery of light and form guides my hand as I create figurative paintings and landscapes that reflect the natural world. However, my approach is also deeply shaped by my background in English Literature. Like a novelist, I look for the narrative within a face or a horizon, seeking what Henry James called "moments of intensified consciousness."

A Philosophy of Quietude My creative path is rooted in a personality that is quiet, low-key, and humble. I believe that art should be a sanctuary—a place of "spiritual balance" and "quiet authority." This focus on intimacy can be traced back to my childhood fascination with "inches arts" and postage stamps, where I learned that the smallest details can contain the most profound emotions.

The Modern Meditative Space Whether I am painting the "luminous figures" of a new series or the "flickering light" of a landscape, my goal is to invite the viewer to slow down. In a fast-paced world, I offer my paintings as a meditative space—a celebration of feminine mystery, the serenity of nature, and the happiness found in the act of creation itself.
